We do all the legwork and simply call you when an agent is ready.
After submitting the form we'll call you immediately and connect you to the customer service number.
After going through the company's phone menu system you can hang up and go on with your day.
We keep the line open on our end waiting for a customer service rep to answer. We'll then call you back.
Can't find an answer? Don't hesitate to reach out!
Behind the scenes our system is keeping phone lines open on your behalf. We also employ services to detect when an agent comes online which costs us money.
The agent will only wait so long. Afterwards they will hang-up the call and you'll need to go through the process again. However, we're working on an upgrade to our system that will put you back in the queue if you don't pick up.
After starting our first business we found ourselves dealing with the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency for the non-Canadians amongst us) fairly often as we were learning some of the ropes in filing corporate taxes. Nearly every call was at least an hour on hold. Frustrated, we built youcallme to solve this problem for us. With our new "hammer" in hand we started noticing this issue with dozens of other calls we made (telehealth, bell, customer support, etc.) and thought we should share our solution with others!
Good! We hope more start. In fact, we've been thinking about creative ways to leverage this tool to encourage (and help) companies to setup their own callback service. In the meantime we can't "wait on hold" until they address this problem. In building and testing out this product we also learned that company callback service queue systems are not always trustworthy. Additionally, and unfortunately, some companies are not incentivized to add callback functionality.
